Magazine Storage Idea

Are your quilt magazines like mine used to be and in a million piles all over your house?  When you want to find a pattern you know you saw recently in one of your magazines, do you have to spend forever looking for it again?  Well, if so, here's an idea for your magazine storage, courtesy of Anita Young:

Anita has all these cute magazine holders in pretty colors, and let me tell you, that girl is AWESOME with a label maker.  I cannot tell a lie... when I saw Anita's magazines all organized like this, I went directly to Office Depot and bought myself some magazine holders (not as pretty as Anita's) and my own label maker.  Here's the result:

It's hard to tell from the picture, but my magazine holders are actually inside a bookcase, while Anita's are out on a shelf.

Donna Thomas' Sewing Room

Okay, Ladies... Have a seat and prepare to see one AWESOME sewing room!  (Remember to click on the photos to enlarge them.)  The photos are taken from each end of the room.

This sewing room belongs to our own Donna Thomas, and it's 17' x 27'.  It has a sink, refrigerator, full bath and a double door to the backyard!  The previous owner of the home was a seamstress of some kind and had the room set up for her needs.  Donna said it was this room alone that made her decide to buy this particular house, and I can certainly see why!  Thanks for letting us enjoy your sewing room, Donna.  :-)
